Lacking photographs when accessing iphone through Home windows Explorer

I all the time transferred photographs from an iPhone to a Home windows PC through Home windows Explorer, just by getting into the DCIM folder on the cellphone, navigating to the month folder and copying the information.

Some weeks in the past it began that some newly taken photographs simply don’t seem on home windows explorer. Some do, some don’t. Appears random to me.

I am conscious of the truth that iphones can save photographs of their cloud, so they aren’t accessible through USB, like described right here: Some photographs aren’t displayed when iPhone linked to PC

In my case, that is not the trigger. iCloud is disabled.

To localize the issue, I attempted the USB import on one other Home windows PC. And effectively, all of the lacking photographs had been there. So I began transferring my photographs to that different PC as an alternative. Labored for just a few days, now new photos are lacking there, too.

I attempted to make Home windows “neglect” the iphone by uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers, use one other USB port, did not assist. I might discover a third PC to entry my photographs (likely solely working for just a few days), however after all that’d be ridiculous.

Any trace what might trigger this or what I might attempt to repair (no workarounds please)? I am completely clueless.
